मुख्यमंत्री कन्या (उत्थान ) योजना अंतर्गत उच्चतर शिक्षा हेतु प्रेरित करने के लिए स्नातक समकक्ष उत्तीर्ण होने पर अविवाहित/विवाहित छत्राओं को रु 50,000/- (पचास हजार) की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी |

About Purnea University
Purnea University is a state university and was established through the bifurcation of Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura. It has jurisdiction spreading over four districts: Purnea, Katihar, Araria, and Kishanganj under Purnea Division in Bihar.
Purnea University came into existence on 18th March 2018 under the Bihar State Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Bihar Act – 1/2017), and is presently functioning from the campus of Purnea College.
At present, Prof. R.N. Yadav, is the Vice-Chancellor of Purnea University, Purnia. He is an institution builder and is adopting measures to make the University an ’embodiment of higher education’.
Prof. Ghanshyam Roy is the Registrar of Purnea University, Purnea.
At present, there are 15 constituent colleges, 19 affiliated colleges, 10 single faculty education colleges (Affiliated B. Ed. Colleges) and three affiliated law college in the Purnea University.
